The Dog Does Not Know He is 'Homeless'...
Man's Best Friend
No wonder they say a dog is "Man's BEST FRIEND."
Just so there is zero confusion on what companionship looks like, this could be one of the best pictures I have ever seen to come out of a bad situation.
This is such an interesting picture – this man may be alone and have nothing – BUT he has companionship. And it's just enough...to keep going for tomorrow.
What a beautiful picture and wonderful thought.
Though he may have little else, this man has one good, loyal friend and companion.
Blessings are where you find them.
Your circumstances don't matter as much as your willingness to be a "forever friend" to some needy canine companion.

Tomcats spray urine as a means of chemical transportation and to mark their territory. This activity, which may be under taken by both entire and castrated males, should be differentiated from normal micturition and abnormal excretion linked with Urinary Tract Infections. When spraying, a cat holds its rump high with the tail erect and the tip of the tail quivers. Treading movements are also often seen as the spray, regularly about 1 ml, is sent back onto a vertical outside in short jets. Spraying indoors may be triggered by the presence of rival cats, collective upheaval (including home decoration) or the loss of human or animal companions.
Castration of entire males regularly diminishes or stops spraying and makes the urine less pungent smelling. It is, however, not universally effective; rates of effectiveness have been reported to be around 78%. The supervision of progestagens is sometimes efficient in both entire and neutered cats. Medication can be given intermittently or continuously. The mode of operation is plan to be through negative feedback on the hypothalamus and through calming effects in the cerebral cortex. The use of sedative or psychoactive drugs may also be of help in the short term, while environmental and behavior modification are introduced.
Cats Throwing Up
Cat owners should be discouraged from punishing the tomcat in any way after spraying, since this can exacerbate the situation. On the other hand, if the cat can be caught in the act, direct punishment (a jet of water from a water pistol) or a suitable object that, when thrown, physically disrupts the behavior, can be very effective. Cats caught spraying can also be deterred by an unexpected noise, such as that produced by an alarm or throwing a bunch of keys for example.

Now is the time of year when throw blankets become a popular way to cuddle nearby the Tv or read a good book wrapped in extra warmth.
Throws are increasingly available in various sizes, designs and fabrics, along with wool, synthetics and cottons.

So, rather than throwing them haphazardly when not in use, here are some economical decorating ideas for throw blankets.

Basket Beauties: If every person in your family enjoys a throw blanket, neatly roll them up and place them in a complimentary accent basket or trunk to display when not in use. Pick throw blankets that will work together in a grouping. If the basket is short sufficient roll the throws into tubes an set them on end, or flip the basket on it's side and create a pyramid stack.

FACT: The term "pit bull" does not refer to a specific breed of dog. It's a generic term applied to American pit bull terriers, American Staffordshire terriers, and hundreds of mixes containing elements of these breeds. DNA analysis shows that most "pit bulls" are predominantly made up of other breeds – from Lab to poodle. The term "pit bull" designates an appearance, not a breed.
FACT: Pit bulls are family-oriented dogs, blessed with a tremendous sense of loyalty.
FACT: No single neutered household pet pit bull has ever killed anyone.
FACT: Pit bulls score at or below average for aggression when compared to other dogs. Temperament evaluations by the American Temperament Test Society give American pit bull terriers a very high passing rate of 82.6%. The average passing rate for the other 121 breeds of dogs in the tests was 77%.
FACT: And no, a pit bull's jaw does not lock.
FACT: Dogs are not naturally aggressive. Almost any dog can be taught to be aggressive, and, like many other breeds, pit bulls are strong dogs who can inflict real injuries. However, the evidence shows clearly that this is not a dog problem, but a people problem.
FACT: The needless, senseless, killing of homeless pets at animal shelters comes at an enormous economic and moral cost. Public and private agencies spend $2.5 billion each year caring for and/or killing homeless dogs and cats. Pit bulls represent one in four of all animals taken into shelters. More than 80% of pit bulls in shelters will die before their second birthday.
